In the traditions I study, including Tibetan Buddhism, the purpose of formal meditation practice is to cultivate familiarity with awareness — and to take that recognition into everyday life.

My work starts with life situations where there is emotional reactivity, suffering, stuckness, or confusion, and uses them as the raw material for waking up.
